Winter Full Moon & Solstice Community Gathering: Connecting through Movement, Vibration & Art

There is a certain magic and power behind the energy of every full moon. Around the world, the full moon carries profound meaning, symbolizing change, transformation and fresh starts. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, and a perfect time to celebrate and honor not only where we’ve been, but where we are going.

Throughout the evening, we will explore ideas around surrendering attachments from the past, tapping into what we need to feel emotionally nourished and fulfilled, and how we can cultivate more self-care and emotional awareness in our lives.

The celebration will begin by dropping down into our bodies through a gentle yoga flow with Jennifer, allowing intention, clarity and nourishment to begin to rise to the surface to be seen. Matthew will then invite us deeper into release and clarity through meditative sound and vibration. Rachel will then conclude our evening in community celebration with a soul-full craft – an intention orb.  Using elements from nature, seasonal items and faux flowers, you’ll decorate an orb to hang around your home that will serve as a reminder of your intentions for the next month and beyond.

There will also be a community snack potluck during the soul-crafting portion of the evening, so if you feel called to bring a tasty and healthy snack to share, please do!

Limited to 15 students. Class exchange $35.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow to this event, and anything else that would allow you to be as comfortable as possible during the sound meditation.
